As one of the top 12 senior international competitors from yesterdays US Classic, Terin joined 23 other junior and senior gymnasts in the US Classic Team Cup. Terin's team was called the Baby Blues. Joining her in the team were Annie Fogerty (Parkettes), Krista Jasper (Parkettes), Nina Kim (WOGA), Tia Orlando (Parkettes) and Carly Patterson (WOGA). The team performed well to finish in 3rd place! Terin contributed to their score on three events vault (9.325), uneven bars (9.075) and balance beam (8.300). Congratulations girls!
Terin's next competition will be the 2002 USA Championships which gets underway in Cleveland, Ohio in early August. We will post more information about this competition in the coming weeks.

The individual event finals at the Pacific Alliance Championships were held on Sunday in Vancouver. Terin had qualified to compete in the uneven bars final. First up in the final, Terin performed a great routine and set the standard for the other gymnasts to follow scoring 9.325 (9.8 SV). Terin's score was good enough to hold on for equal thrid place with Australia's Jacqui Dunn. Chinese athlete Chen Miajie won the gold medal with a score of 9.525 just ahead of Terin's teammate Tasha Schwikert who scored 9.400.
Terin has had a great weekend in Canada, picking up a medal of every color over the two days of competition! Congratulations on a great comepetition Terin!

Competition at the 2002 Pacific Alliance Championships got underway for Terin yesterday in Vancouver! Terin combined with her senior teammates Tasha Schwikert (Gymcats) and Kristal Uzelac (Parkettes) to take the team gold medal (111.223) by more than four points over Australia (107.099). The Japanese team finished third (104.723). Individually Terin had a great evening, earning the silver medal in the all around competition! She scored consistently well on all event with her best performance coming on the uneven bars (9.312). Terin has also qualified to contest the uneven bars final on Sunday. Lots of exciting news to report... Following the American Classic, Terin joined a select group of junior and senior international elites at the Karolyi Ranch for a National training camp. During the course of this camp the US Junior and Senior Pacfic Alliance teams were selected. We are extremely excited to report that Terin was selected as a member senior team alongside Tasha Schwikert and Kristal Uzelac with Liz Tricase named alternate. The junior team is Hollie Vise, Carly Patterson and Melanie Sinclair with Chellsie Memmel named as alternate. The Pacific Alliance Championships gets underway tomorrow in Vancouver and continues until Sunday evening. Terin's events get underway on Saturday with the senior womens team and all around event. The Pacific Alliance Championships draws together athletes from Australia, Canada, China, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand and the Philippines. Gymn.ca will have representatives at the event and are providing full event coverage. In addition the official event website will provide competition updates live during the event. In other gymnastics news, two of Terin's lovely teammates have recently qualified as junior international elites. Congratulations to Courtney McCool and Sarah Shire! Also Terin recently got a new floor routine set to Armenian Tango music! Look out for a video of the new routine on the website in the very near future! She has already tasted success with this routine, winning the floor title at the recent Gymnix International!
Outside of the gym, Terin was really excited to earn her drivers permit recently and has been driving a lot since getting it. She hopes to get her license in September depending on her other commitments! Congratulations Terin... watch out Missouri drivers :P

Terin travelled to Indiana last weekend to complete in the 2002 American Classic, the first qualifier for athletes into the 2002 USA Championships. Despite having some problems on beam and floor, Terin performed well enough to qualify to the Championships by finishing in 8th place all around! Congratulations Terin! For full meet results visit the USA Gymnastics online. This year will mark Terin's fourth appearance in the USA Championships however it is her first as a senior international elite. With the Event World Championship scheduled for November, Terin will be out to impress the US selectors at the event. The photo (left) shows Terin in action in her very first USA Championships in 1999!
The American Classic also featured a unique team event on the second day of competition which showcased all of the qualifiers from the previous day. Terin would have taken part in this competition although we have been unable to find her results at this stage. When we do will add them to the site!

Results are in from the Gymnix International! Terin performed really well to win the bronze medal in the senior all around competition! Terin scored consistently well on all events, her highest make coming on vault (9.000) and her lowest on uneven bars (8.650). The event was won by fellow American, Jordan Schwikert with Kaitlin White picking up the silver medal. Terin's good form continued into the event finals where her newly choreographed floor exercise impressed the crowd and judges alike and earned her the gold medal! Congratulations on a great performance Terin!

Sorry for the late coming of this update! We have been looking for results from Terin's most recent competition for a couple of weeks and have finally found some information. Terin's most recent competition was the Dragon Invitational hosted by her own gym GAGE. Terin competed in the 15 years level 10 division and came first all around (37.450). She also came first on vault (9.750) and balance beam (9.375) and picked up third place on both uneven bars (9.350) and floor exercise (9.000)! Congratulations on a great performance Terin! In other exciting news, Terin has been selected to represent the United States at the prestigious Gymnix International in Montreal, Canada. The competition will feature a strong international field and gets underway this Saturday, March 9 with the all around competition. Goodluck Terin!

Terin began her 2002 competition season this weekend at the Parkette Invitational held in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Terin performed really well and took second place all-around in her age division (37.700)! Kristal Uzelac (Parkettes) won the event and Courtney Kupets (Hills) picked up the bronze medal. Terin was the top scoring on both uneven bars (9.750) and balance beam beam (9.600) and equal fourth best on vault (9.500). Congratulations Terin on a great competition!
